From The Regnum Animale by Bishop Vitellus of Oaken:
Amphibia are not strangers to our land, though they are often treated as though they were. These hairless Fauna bear uncanny resemblances to Reptilians that inspire dread in the more ignorant of our folk. This animosity is heightened by the fact that the Amphibia are known for trading with Reptilians; however, it must be said that they willingly trade with all Fauna who are willing to do so. Their neutrality is a trait praised among their own kind, and indeed, their attitude of friendliness is to be admired, but few other Fauna demonstrate the ability to keep secrets as zealously as they do. Their business carries them to every land, but most claim a home in the southeast, between Mammalian and Reptilian lands.
